Special Quadrilaterals

Several of my Geometry students are working on special quadrilaterals now.

I found this site that has good pictures of the defining characteristics of parallelograms.

Here's a site where you can play with the dimensions on a rhombus.

Something to keep in mind: since a rectangle, a rhombus and a square are all special parallelograms, they have all the characteristics of a parallelogram. For instance, they will all have diagonals that bisect each other, have opposite angles that are equal, and consecutive angles that are supplementary.
